Sam Tinker and his daughter Jenny arrive in NY on a ship. It's Red Rose.

They leave the Red Rouse. There are lots of people, horses and carts beside the ship. Sam looks a job. They don't
have any money. He stop a young man and the young man says "Talk to Jack Crane".
Page 3
Jack Crane is a farmer. He´s old man. He has a long thin face. He listens to Sam's story. Mr Crane takes off his hat.
Jack Crane can give work to Sam and Jenny. He needs a new man to work in the fields and he wants someone to help
in the kitchen.

Jack Crane, Blue Sky, Sam and Jenny arrive at the farm on a cart.
Page 5
There are lot of yellow fields and a big farmhouse. Jenny looks away and asks fo smoke. Sky says it's her family's
house.
Page 6
Jenny helps Blue Sky in the farmhouse. They cook everyone's breakfast. They make all the beds. They clean the
kitchen floor. At the same time Sam work in the fields. He don't stop any one minute.

Sam and Jenny have only one free day every week - Sunday. It's Blue Sky's free day, too. Blue Sky visits her family.
Jenny goes with her. She meets the village Chief.
Page 8
Sam and Jenny are unhappy. They want to work on their farm. Tinkers Farm. But they can't buy any land. Jack Crane
pays us only two dollars a week.
Page 9
Jack Crane and Sam argue. Jack Crane wants that Sam work on Sunday but Sam doesn't to work on Sunday.

It's rains and there is strong. Sam has his eyes are cold and hard.
Page 11
Jenny and Blue Sky go to the Indian Village. They see a boy in the river. He can't swin.
Page 12
Jenny jump into the river and save the boy. It's the Village Chief's son.
Page 13
Later Jenny arrives at the Indian Village. Blue Sky tells the story. The Chief is very grateful, so he gives Jenny same
land.
Page 14
Sam is unhappy and he's sad.
Page 15
Jenny takes her father to a hill. She shows the land. Jenny is very happy because now can have their own fam.
