• To have more control on our lives
Yesterday is History
Tomorrow is a Mystery
But Today is a Gift
That’s Why They Call it
The Present
 Normally we all spend our day as
follows:-
 1) Sleeping :- 8 hrs.
 2) working :- 8 hrs.
 3) Eating :- 2 hrs.
 4) Communication / traveling :-
2 hrs.
 5) P. Hygiene:- 1 hrs.
That leaves about 3hrs for other
things that make life worth living.
THE DAY GO?
Time is a Non Renewable Resource
Once it is gone, it is gone.
You will never see this moment again.

How can you get an extra hour out of each day?
 Get up early
 Watch less TV
 Avoid allowing others to waste your time
 If you are not driving, use that time to study or plan. If
you are driving listen to a motivational tape.
 Organize your work; do it systematically.
 Make creative use of lunch time.
 Delegate work if, possible.
 Spend less time on unimportant phone calls.
 Think first and then do the task.
 Learn to read more rapidly.
 Select your clothes the night before
 Avoid interruptions.
 Work hard when you’re mentally alert
 Eliminate activities that make the smallest contributions to
your life.
 Always do the toughest jobs first.
 Before each major work ask, “Is this really necessary?”
 Learn how to sleep. Sleep soundly, then work
 Write notes or letters while waiting for others.
 Combine tasks that are done in the same area.
 Be prompt for all appointments
 Call on specialists to do work that you cannot do efficiently
 Search out job shortcuts.
 Know your limitations.
 Work at your full capacity.
