Kim Goldspink As Media 12 LEE Mrs Purser Thriller Opening Planning Location: - Desolate location – Back roads, countryside, Whitwell Roads, Bluebell Woods(Cawston), Bawdeswell Heath Equipment: - HD Sony Camera (plus spear battery) - DV Tapes to record. - Tripod - Dolly Props: - Mopeds - Costumes – Casual dress for the victim (as they been out somewhere) - Dark coloured clothing for the villain, maybe a long coat to keep Their identity hidden from the audience, also a possibility of a cap to Hide their face. Characters (first thoughts): - Villain = big, well built person, height about 6.0ft – character is psycho, not right in the head. (Audience wouldn’t feel sorry for him.) - Victim = small person, skinny, height about 5.7ft- so the Villain would be able to over look the poor victim, showing the higher authority. Outline, rough version of production storyboard: - Victim is on the way home from friends/party, he has had a couple of drinks etc. Has to stop on the way home as his moped is playing up. Tries fixing it, getting frustrated goes to get his phone out to call for help, but there is no signal to call. While this is happening the villain is watching the victim, keeping an eye on everything he is doing, he then goes up to the victim form behind after watching if from the trees/bushes. (The rest hasn’t been planned as of yet) - Or... - Villain could pull up beside the victim in a car. - Victim could have flash backs – schizophrenic? Music: - For the beginning was thinking of something calm, until when the moped stops, and it starts to get tension coming into the music to help build the tension between the characters and the audience gradually until it very powerful tension music.
