This document in the case of Thomas Woznicki vs. Dennis Erickson was filed with the Wisconsin Supreme Court on September 15, 1995. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling in the case of Woznicki v. Erickson established the “Woznicki Notice” precedent, which gives public employees in Wisconsin the right to challenge the release of certain public records.

THOMAS WOZNICKI DISMISSALS (THREE DIFFERENT WISCONSIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS)
This document appears to indicate that Thomas Woznicki was asked to leave the New Richmond (pages 23-28), Florence County (pages 57-59), and Boscobel (pages 64-69) school districts in Wisconsin. The contents of the document span a timeframe of approximately two decades (20 years). The New Richmond, Wisconsin school district filed a License Review Referral with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Bureau for Teacher Education, Licensing, and Placement during April of 1994 (page 13). Twenty years later (April 2014), Thomas Woznicki was apparently still employed in Wisconsin’s public school system as the Superintendent of the Boscobel, Wisconsin school district. It is unclear what actions, if any, the Wisconsin DPI licensing bureau has taken related to the apparent decisions made by the three aforementioned school districts.

Many large lecture classes at undergraduate institutions have started to utilize technology to engage students. A mixed methods design was used in this dissertation research to build a comprehensive understanding of the statistical relationships among mathematics anxiety, math self-efficacy, and achievement in mathematics among students in a large lecture, undergraduate calculus class taught using clickers. The purpose of this study was to develop an understanding of the statistical relationships and of the students’ experiences and perspectives on the relationships among mathematics self-efficacy, math anxiety, and achievement, along with the effect of clicker use on these variables, with attention given to changes in student perceptions during the semester. Statistical analysis was conducted utilizing quantitative survey data, and qualitative methods were used to analyze student interview data. Pairwise statistical relationships identified in previous research were confirmed among math anxiety, mathematics self-efficacy, and achievement in mathematics. Findings also revealed the potential for clickers to help promote desired learning outcomes when used effectively by students and instructors. Future research on the effect of clicker use in other types of mathematics courses besides calculus, in classes with students representing a more diverse range of racial/ethnic backgrounds, and with smaller class sizes will help build on the knowledge gained from this study.

Il turismo nello scenario internazionale
Il turismo internazionale continua a crescere. Congiuntura economica e fattori geopolitici non sembrano in grado di modificarne, nel medio-lungo termine, il trend di sviluppo.
L’Italia ha intercettato il trend positivo ed ha visto crescere gli arrivi in modo significativo (ca. +50% in 15 anni)
Siamo più attrattivi senza riuscire, tuttavia, a generare maggior valore perché la permanenza media continua a scendere, è passata da 4,1 giorni del 2001 a 3,6 giorni del 2015, e con essa la spesa per arrivo passata da oltre 1.000 euro del 2001(a prezzi 2015) a poco meno di 700 del 2015.
Un fenomeno che mette in evidenza una importante criticità del nostro modello di offerta dal momento che nel turismo l’obiettivo non è principalmente quello di attrarre i turisti ma soprattutto quello di trattenerli perché in questo modo crescano le occasioni di spesa e, dunque, le entrate valutarie.
Il turismo internazionale in Italia continua ad essere prevalentemente europeo, oggi pesa per oltre il 70% in leggero calo rispetto a quindici anni fa quando i flussi di origine europea rappresentavano il 74% del totale. Ma negli ultimi anni cresce anche il peso dei Paesi extra-europei.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

El apoyo social a una eventual secesión de Cataluña del Reino de España que, según los estudios de opinión de más largo alcance, entre 1991 y el año 2007, aglutinaba a poco más de un tercio de la población de Cataluña, ha experimentado a lo largo de los últimos cinco años un abrupto incremento, llegando a implicar a casi un 60 % de los catalanes y ocupando un lugar central en la atención social y política. Este artículo (versión muy ampliada de la primera parte de un trabajo en prensa) intenta aportar las claves para entender qué factores exógenos y endógenos han condicionado esta acelerada pujanza y qué elementos legitiman el iniciado proceso de secesión del Reino de España.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
