PHILANTHROPIST WHO HAS,
FOR OVER TWO DECADES,
SERVED AS A VOLUNTEER IN
YOUTH SERVICES AND VICTIM
ADVOCACY PROGRAMS.
6. Annual Budget
Currently, the founder's budget for the organization
hovers around $10,000, a figure reflective of the
financial limitations often encountered by smaller
non-profit ventures.
7. Statistics
A study surveyed one hundred
largest school districts in the
United States and found that
only a small percentage of
African-American males
earned a diploma. Data and
analysis confirm that education
is critical for socioeconomic
advancement and an important
driver of economic mobility.
More troubling is the research
shows that black males who
dropout of high school are
more likely to end up
incarcerated.
