The students identify and assess how the social work values of the agency's programs are integrated and ethically applied according to the NASW code of ethics. They examine the agency's mission statement, policies, marketing literature, and website to understand how values of social and economic justice, diversity, discrimination, and oppression are addressed. Students then apply critical thinking to interpret the implementation of policies through different types of program evaluation, and use research findings to promote human rights and social justice in a culturally competent manner.
