Hello, this is your quiz-friend Partha Gupta. Over the years I have conducted
so many quiz contests and got your illustrious presence and appreciation. In
this grim situation of Lockdown due to Covid- 19, I have started an online quiz
series in my Facebook page titled ‘Theme Quiz Journey’ which has been going
on since 10th May, ‘20 the birthday of ‘Father of Indian Quiz’- Neil O’Brien.
So, I am going to place a live IPL special Quiz (13 qsn. One each from 2008 to
2020 ) in my FB page. Anyone can participate in this session.

3. These two cheerleaders- Ellesha Newton & Sherinne Anderson
were allegedly barred from entering the Mohali ground just
before the April 19 match between the Team Punjab and Team
Chennai on the pretext that "people don’t like dark girls
here". Both the girls also alleged that an employee of Wizcraft
referred to them with the racial slur ″nigger″.
• DJ Akhtar Fazel was the Indian agent who
actually brought these girls to India through

story of a small village boy’s dream to play for India and
in IPL realized dramatically. He was a late addition to the
Kolkata Knight Riders' squad for the inaugural season of
the IPL. His first India call-up in Twenty-20 was happened
against Sri Lanka in 2009 and his maiden international
victim was Sanath Jayasuriya. In IPL-3, he did a dream
first over against Delhi Daredevils which cost only 1 run
and Dave Warner’s precious wicket.

He once opened the attack for Warwickshire. He has
worked with some of the biggest names in sports from
Sir Viv Richards to Brian Lara. During this edition,
he has interviewed MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid and VVS
Laxman for his book ‘Think Like a Champion’.

He was detained by Bangalore police for questioning in 2009 in
connection with the suspected presence of explosives at the
Chinnaswamy Stadium but given a clean chit a few days later. He
was the first cricketer from his state to be picked for India 'A'
team for a warm-up game against England in 2013. He is the first
cricketer from his state to bag an IPL contract. He ‘hides' liquor
brand logo on his jersey because of religious sentiments.

14. IPL- VII (2014)
He picked up the first hattrick of this edition in only 2 legal
deliveries. It was happened when he took the wickets of Manish
Pandey, Yusuf Pathan and Ryan Ten Doeschate off the first two
delivery of his last over of the match (the wicket of Manish Pandey
was off a wide delivery). Thus, he became the second bowler in
cricket history after Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana who achieved this feat
in the 2010 edition of the Champions League T20 for Wayamba.

• He achieved this feat for Rajasthan Royals against
KKR on 4th May, 2014 at Motera Stadium.

When RCB played against KKR at the Eden
Gardens on 11th of April 2015, a rare cricketing
incident was occurred which was the first
instance in the history of IPL and T20 cricket.

all-rounder, I didn’t follow my father’s footstep.
I debuted my T20 International in 2017. In the
2018’s IPL season, I replaced Mitchell Starc
and showed significant performances.

achievement which is a T20 record.

right hand when his sister accidentally slammed the door on it.
