Hello, this is your quiz-friend Partha Gupta. Over the years I have conducted
so many quiz contests and got your illustrious presence and appreciation. In
this grim situation of Lockdown due to Covid- 19, I have started an online quiz
series in my Facebook page titled ‘Theme Quiz Journey’ which has been going
on since 10th May, ‘20 the birthday of ‘Father of Indian Quiz’- Neil O’Brien.
So, I am going to place a live IPL special Quiz (13 qsn. One each from 2008 to
2020 ) in my FB page. Anyone can participate in this session.
So friends, gear up to answer the questions as the earliest!

against Sri Lanka in 2009 and his maiden international
victim was Sanath Jayasuriya. In IPL-3, he did a dream
first over against Delhi Daredevils which cost only 1 run
and Dave Warner’s precious wicket.

He was detained by Bangalore police for questioning in 2009 in
connection with the suspected presence of explosives at the
Chinnaswamy Stadium but given a clean chit a few days later. He
was the first cricketer from his state to be picked for India 'A'
team for a warm-up game against England in 2013. He is the first
cricketer from his state to bag an IPL contract. He ‘hides' liquor
brand logo on his jersey because of religious sentiments.

He picked up the first hattrick of this edition in only 2 legal
deliveries. It was happened when he took the wickets of Manish
Pandey, Yusuf Pathan and Ryan Ten Doeschate off the first two
delivery of his last over of the match (the wicket of Manish Pandey
was off a wide delivery). Thus, he became the second bowler in
cricket history after Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana who achieved this feat
in the 2010 edition of the Champions League T20 for Wayamba.
