This document provides an overview of the contents of a book titled "The Many Faces of Multilingualism". The book contains 13 chapters contributed by various authors and is divided into two parts. Part I focuses on sociolinguistic aspects of multilingualism and includes chapters on minority languages in Poland's education system, language contact and maintenance of Guarani in Brazil, heritage language socialization of a Mexican family in Canada, and code alternation among multilingual speakers. Part II examines pedagogical aspects of multilingualism with chapters on identity and language proficiency for study abroad students, influence of first languages on pragmatics learning, curriculum reform in Latvia, and pluralistic approaches in foreign language education in Malta.
