Years later, he realizes the noises were just the wind and the note was from childhood games, but he is still too afraid to return to the house.

The algorithm uses thresholding in color components and connected component analysis to count partially occluded tangerines. Counts from the algorithm were compared to observer counts and past yield estimates. The algorithm provided suitable estimates of tangerine numbers both before and after harvesting, allowing yield prediction.

When we last published Inside the LEI in May there were 13 pre-Local Operating Units (LOUs) and about 237,000 entities that had been assigned an LEI. Six months later, there are 19 pre-LOUs and over 311,000 entities have been assigned an LEI. That’s an increase in entities covered of 37%. Our analysis in the spring highlighted the fact that many entities that should have an LEI did not, and that many entities that had been assigned an LEI did not really need them. (Badminton clubs, churches, YMCAs, etc.) There appears to have been some improvement on this score in the most recent additions to the LEI universe, although it is difficult to tell because many of the newly registered entities are located outside the US and are registered in a language other than English. The largest number of new LEI entities are domiciled in Italy and have been registered by the Italian LOU. The Alacra Authority File provides reference data on a universe of over 200,000 entities that are either rated, regulated or listed. This dataset contains most of the common customers and counterparties of large, global financial institutions.

Remembering they have an extra key, they investigate and find a lost cat inside. As they are leaving, police arrive after neighbors report an intruder in the empty house. The youth is taken to the police station until their parents can be reached.

On their first day renovating the house, a fire breaks out. Mark arrives home to find the house engulfed in flames. The narrator describes how he came to kill his beloved black cat Pluto out of anger caused by his drinking. He hung Pluto's dead body in his cellar. That night, a fire broke out and burned down his house. Years later, in a fit of rage triggered by the same black cat that resembled Pluto, he kills his wife and walls up her body in the cellar. When the police search the cellar, the narrator's inner force compels him to reveal the hidden body, and atop it sits the one-eyed black cat, crying out its revenge.

The local council is holding a storytelling competition and the narrator has decided to share their experience exploring an abandoned, supposedly haunted house near their village. The narrator and their friends went to the house late at night, hearing creepy noises as they explored. At midnight, they heard footsteps on the stairs and the door opening and closing on its own. Then, the fireplace lit by itself. Terrified, the group packed up and escaped by jumping out a window when the wind suddenly blew open another window, running all the way home. The narrator was too scared to ever return to the haunted house again.
Multigenre nan's house

A Horror Story

She told him the story of searching for a strange little house when she was a child - a little round red house with no windows, doors, or chimney top and a star in the middle. The boy went outside to search the neighborhood but could not find the house. After asking the mail carrier and police officer to no avail, he went to see the local farmer, Mr. Fetzer, who directed him to an apple tree where an apple fell, representing the described house. The boy brought the apple home and his mother cut it open to reveal a star in the middle.

- 2. • Life in the city had become awful ever since my wife left me. Months seemed like years, and my job provided me no satisfaction. I didn’t even have friends in the city, and I didn’t care. I hated it all.
- 3. • But I remembered my parents’ old house in the woods near the city, where I used to live ten years ago. Since they moved there, the house was empty, but I still had the keys. I decided to move there for a short time, just to feel at least something again. I had the feeling that it was what I needed, more than anything in the world.
- 4. • The journey didn’t take too long. I reached the house and I decided to stay there for a week. Everything was going fine… until I heard strange noises outside the house one night. I took a deep breath and decided to go and check it out.
- 5. • When I searched a basement, I found that strange note:
- 8. • After I had read it, I started to run. I couldn’t see where I was going, but, suddenly, I crossed the opened door of my house. Breathless, I packed my bags and I left that house forever. I buried the keys in front of the basement where I had found that strange note, and then, I returned to the city. I’ll never now what had happened in this wood.
- 9. • Three years after that strange case, I remembered my childhood in this house. That basement was my toys’ basement, and when I invited Juan home, we played a strange game in which we had to imagine that we were lost in the wood, and nobody was going to find us.
- 10. • Also, those strange noises were because of the wind. That night in the newscast, it was said that there had been a lot of wind, and it had caused several damages. Three years later, I understood everything, but, I never returned there.
