EXIT
 What types of cycles can you think of?

 What do they have in common?

EXIT
 Solid
 Liquid
 Gas
 What causes water to move from a solid to a
liquid and a liquid to a gas?

EXIT
 What is Evaporation?

 Evaporation is the process of a water turning
    into water vapor.

EXIT
 Can you think of any times that you have seen
    water evaporating??

EXIT
 What is Condensation?
 Condensation is the formation of water drops
    from water vapor.

 When does it occur?
 As the Water Vapor Cools down the drops are
    formed.

EXIT
 Can you think of a time when you have seen
    Condensation happening?

EXIT
 Clouds are formed by
    condensation. When the heated
water vapor rises into the sky it
comes in contact with cooler air
    creating water droplets and ice
    which we call clouds.

EXIT
 What is Precipitation?
 Precipitation is the process of the condensed
water in the clouds forming larger drops that
fall to the ground as rain, sleet, hail, or snow.

EXIT
 What is Transpiration?
 Transpiration is the process of water moving
from the root of plants and trees to the
underside of their leaves and evaporating.

EXIT
 There are 4 main terms to be familiar with:
 Evaporation
 Condensation
 Transpiration
 Precipitation
 Know how they interact in a circle to form the
    Water Cycle.
