The United Heroes website aims to allow military personnel to stay connected with friends and family through video chat, photos, and messaging. The site founder's vision is for families to also send needed items to soldiers through the site. Revenue will come from optional upgraded services and small shipping fees. While competitors include Facebook and Twitter, the United Heroes site is designed specifically for the military community.
