Was there an actual St. Nicholas? Was he a Christian? What did he do and believe? Is what he believed relevant to our today? How is the Church in the twenty-first century threatened by the same heresies as it was in the third and fourth centuries?

Peter answers that Jesus is the Christ of God. While Jesus could be considered a great teacher or leader, the most important question is determining who He is. It is a question that has eternal consequences. Jesus performed miracles that proved His identity, like raising a boy from the dead, but some like John the Baptist still struggled with doubt. True knowledge of Jesus comes from a personal relationship with Him and surrendering one's life fully to Him as Lord.
True christianity and how it leads to islammuzaffertahir9
Muslims devoutly believe in Jesus, Moses and all other true prophets. Catholics, Protestants, and Muslims all claim to believe in Jesus. Why, then, are there such differences among his believers? The fact is that his teachings have been misinterpreted and misrepresented. Jesus himself did what a sincere Muslim would have done. He submitted to the will of God. He, further, prophesied the corning of Prophet Muhammad.
This short booklet offers Biblical teachings which disavow some beliefs which are wrongly attributed to Jesus Christ. It tells that there is no contradiction between Islam and true Christianity. True Christianity, in fact, leads to Islam.
The whole purpose of this booklet is to promote better understanding, closer relationship, peace, and harmony between Muslims and Christians.
Jesus said:
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment ... I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
"Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
"He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you". (John 16:7-15)
The document discusses how the Old Testament, including the books of Moses, Psalms and Prophets, reveal God's eternal purpose and missionary calling for Israel and all nations. Key points made include: 1) God commissioned Israel as a nation of priests to bring salvation and the knowledge of God to the Gentiles; 2) Prophecies throughout the Old Testament foretell that the Messiah would suffer for the sins of all people and that repentance and forgiveness would be preached to all nations; 3) The Psalms repeatedly command God's people to declare His glory and deeds among the nations so that all people may worship and praise Him.
The document examines evidence for who Jesus Christ claimed to be based on testimony from various sources. It discusses what people in Jesus' time said about him, including that he taught with authority and some believed him to be the Messiah. It also examines what Jesus himself claimed, including that he could forgive sins, was the Son of God and eternal. The document argues that either Jesus' claims were true, making him the Son of God, or he was a liar based on the eyewitness testimony and fulfilled prophecies about the Messiah.
The temptation to introduce "new" things into the work of God has always been too strong for some people to resist... Today this trend has accelerated beyond recognition despite A.W. Tozer's warning. Christians should be spiritually awakened so as to discern God’s original ways from man-made false ways in every area of Christianity.

This document provides an overview of the perfect humanity of Jesus Christ. It discusses how Jesus was fully God and fully man, taking on human flesh yet remaining sinless. It examines the biblical evidence that Jesus had the physical appearance and experiences of a man, being hungry, tired, tempted, and feeling human emotions. While fully human, Jesus remained without sin. The purpose of Jesus' humanity and sonship was to become our redeemer, mediator, king, and judge.
Jesus came into human history as both fully God and fully man through the virgin birth. As God, he took on human flesh and lived among us humbly as a servant. Though divine, he did not rely on his divine powers but lived as a human in order to redeem humanity. He was tempted in every way as a human yet did not sin. Jesus came to save mankind from sin and death and restore our relationship with God.
This document discusses four key facts about Jesus that can be used to tell others about Him. 1) Jesus was fully human. He was born in history and had human experiences. 2) Jesus was more than a great teacher as He did miraculous things that only God can do and said things that only God can say. 3) Jesus overcame death by dying on the cross and rising from the tomb three days later, as witnessed by many. 4) Sharing one's own personal experience of how knowing Jesus has changed their life can help others understand who He is.

This document discusses Jesus Christ based on passages from the Bible and other Christian texts. It summarizes that Jesus is:
1) Born as a savior to save people from their sins.
2) God's Messiah, fulfilling the roles of prophet, priest, and king as described in scripture.
3) Eternally God's Son, deserving our allegiance as our Lord who sacrificed himself to redeem humanity.
This document discusses who Jesus Christ is according to Christianity. It describes how Jesus claimed to be God based on statements he made and things he did, such as performing miracles. Jesus' followers, enemies, and even demons recognized his divinity. The Bible confirms Jesus' claim that he is the Son of God. The conclusion is that Jesus is both fully God and fully human, with both a divine and human nature united in one person. Believers are challenged to accept Jesus as the Lord and ruler of their lives.
This document provides an overview of the humanity and deity of Jesus Christ based on a sermon given on Easter Sunday. It discusses how Jesus was fully God and fully man, explaining the theological concept of the incarnation. It explores Jesus' dual nature as revealed through his physical attributes and emotions as a man, as well as his divine works and relationship with God the Father. The sermon emphasizes why Jesus' humanity was essential for him to serve as the perfect sacrifice and mediator between God and humanity.
The document discusses the key aspects of the gospel, including understanding it, living it, proclaiming it, and defending it. It explores the meaning of the word "gospel" in the New Testament and in Jesus' time, when it referred to proclaiming good news from a king. The gospel is centered on Jesus and his crucifixion, and encompasses God's plan for eternity past, creation, the fall, redemption through Jesus, and future restoration and eternity with God. Religion focuses on what people do, while the gospel depends on what Jesus has done.
Christians - Can You Pass 'The Jesus Test'?
Jesus Test will show you how much you love Jesus! and whether you deserve his salvation, hopeful that you will pass it:-)
God has a special plan to save all of Israel. The document discusses how God will fulfill his promises to Israel and save them in a way that extends beyond just the Church. It suggests that Jesus himself will come to Israel and save them, just as he will come for his bride, the Church. God will breathe life into the dry bones of Israel one last time. The document speculates that after the rapture of the Church, Israel will be resurrected and given an important role as bearers of the gospel during the tribulation period. Ultimately, Jesus will reveal himself as the Messiah to Israel and restore their joy for 1,000 years, showing how much God cherishes his beloved Israel.
The document discusses evidence from the Bible that supports the divinity of Christ. It references several passages that equate Jesus with God, such as Titus 2:13 which calls Jesus "our great God and Savior." Additionally, Jesus's words and actions, such as forgiving sins, receiving worship, and promising his resurrection, demonstrated he had divine authority and qualities that were unique to God. The resurrection of Jesus is presented as the strongest evidence of his deity, as it validated his identity and sacrificial death for humanity.

It also summarizes Jesus' teachings about following God's commands, identifying false teachers, treating others well, and prioritizing spiritual life over material goods. Overall, the document argues the greatest teachings across the three religions emphasize obeying God and treating others with compassion.
This document provides a summary of a sermon given at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi on focusing on heaven during stressful times. The sermon discusses practical coping strategies during COVID-19, examples from Jeremiah of God's promises to Israel during stress, and heavenly blessings mentioned in the Bible that can help maintain a heavenward focus, including wisdom, citizenship in heaven, treasures and rewards, rooms in heaven, faith, love, peace with God, and provisions.
The document provides an overview and analysis of Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:1-17. It summarizes that:
1) Numbers 21 describes God sending fiery serpents to punish the Israelites for complaining, and commanding Moses to lift up a bronze serpent so those who looked at it would live;
2) Jesus references this story in teaching Nicodemus about being "born again" through believing in the Son of Man being lifted up, just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness;
3) Jesus' crucifixion fulfills this symbolism, as He was lifted up so that all who believe in Him will have eternal life and be saved from the penalty
THE SABBATH SCHOOL - 1st QUARTER 2021 - LESSON 2Adam Hiola
Isaiah has a vision of God on his throne surrounded by angels calling "Holy, holy, holy". He feels condemned for his sin until a burning coal touches his lips and cleanses him. When God asks who will spread his message, Isaiah volunteers, saying "Here am I, send me". God warns that many will reject the message and their hearts will harden, while those who accept will be called "holy seed". All Christians have a duty to spread the gospel in whatever work or profession they pursue.
The document discusses the natural law and its relationship to the Ten Commandments. It notes that the natural law is the universal moral law known through human reason that governs how humans should live. The Ten Commandments contain God's specific codification of the main principles of the natural law. Civil laws should apply the principles of natural law while upholding legitimate civil laws. Christians also follow the new law of grace, which is to follow Jesus Christ by putting possessions and lives at the service of others in charity.

This document discusses the power and importance of God's Word. It makes three key points:
1) God's Word has the power to transform hearts and lives, as seen in the example of Joshua who prospered by meditating on God's Word.
2) Jesus came at the perfect time ordained by God to fulfill prophecies and do God's will, speaking only the words God taught Him.
3) God's Word has the power to cleanse and transform sinners, like Saul who became the Apostle Paul after encountering the Word of God. The document encourages taking God's Word seriously.
The document provides an in-depth analysis of the Parable of the Mustard Seed told by Jesus. It examines the elements of the parable, including the small mustard seed representing the Word of God, and how it grows into the largest plant in the garden to represent the growth of God's kingdom/church. It explores Jesus' purpose in telling the parable to convey that the kingdom of God starts small but grows greatly, and that great things can come from small beginnings through faith in God.

The document discusses the oneness of God based on scriptural evidence. It provides 12 rules for studying the Bible, with explanations for each rule. It examines passages from Isaiah and other books that reveal God as one, and shows Jesus' identity as the fulfillment of God and savior according to the Old Testament prophecies. The document aims to substantiate the oneness of God through the Bible.
This document discusses Jesus' statement "I am the Son of God" from John 10:36 and the Jewish leaders' reaction to try and slander and stone him. It provides context from other passages where Jesus identifies himself as the Son of Man, Messiah, Son of God, and Bread of Life. Despite Jesus' many clear statements and miracles testifying to who he is, the Jewish leaders rejected him and tried to discredit him by calling him demon-possessed and mad, showing that people today also try to fit Jesus into false religions or redefine him.
Though the first promise of God proclaimed that Messiah would be born of a woman; the prophets declared a "virgin shall conceive;" Mary, the mother, questioned "How can this be seeing I have not known a man?" and Dr. Luke examined in detail the virgin birth, there are many who challenge the belief in the uniqueness of Messiah's birth. This very brief study examines the reasons for believing in the virgin birth.

This document contains passages from the Bible about the identity and claims of Jesus Christ. It includes references to Jesus saying "I am" in the Gospel of John and explaining that He is the Messiah spoken of in prophecy. The document poses the question of whether Jesus' claims to be God were true or false, and if false, whether that would make Him a liar, hypocrite, demon, fool or lunatic. It quotes C.S. Lewis arguing that Jesus cannot merely be considered a great moral teacher, but must be accepted as the Son of God or rejected.
The document is a summary of John 1:19-36 from a church service. It discusses John the Baptist denying he is the Messiah or Elijah when questioned by priests and Levites. John says he is the voice preparing the way for the Lord, as prophesied by Isaiah. The next day, John sees Jesus and declares him to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. John baptizes with water to make Jesus manifest to Israel, while Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit.
The document provides background on Jesus' life and ministry. It discusses how he fulfilled prophecies by coming as the Messiah to restore what was lost in the Fall and establish God's kingdom on Earth. However, Jesus faced opposition from religious leaders who had Jesus arrested and crucified, though he was sinless. The document explores the theological significance of Jesus and John the Baptist in God's providence to save humanity.
This is a study of Jesus as the reason for the season. I focus on the positive aspect but there is a negative side as well for much of Christmas celebration has nothing to do with Jesus.
1) The document discusses how Jesus claimed to be God and the Bible's claims about Jesus.
2) It argues that if the New Testament accounts of Jesus' words and actions are historically reliable, then the conclusions that Jesus is God and the Bible is God's word naturally follow.
3) Jesus' miracles and resurrection provide confirmation of his divine identity according to the Bible.
Matthew 1 provides Jesus's genealogy and establishes his lineage back to King David and Abraham to prove he is the promised Messiah. It describes Jesus's virgin birth to Mary and her betrothal to Joseph. An angel visits Joseph in a dream and tells him the child is the Son of God. Matthew cites several Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled by Jesus, such as being called out of Egypt and weeping for the children killed by King Herod. The chapter establishes Jesus as both fully human and fully God through his incarnation.
This document discusses the three angels' messages and the Godhead. It asserts that the Seventh-day Adventist church was raised up to preach the three angels' messages about worshipping the Creator, the fall of Babylon, and the mark of the beast. It contrasts the biblical teaching of three distinct persons in the Godhead with the erroneous Trinity doctrine. It encourages readers to choose whether they will follow the true God or false gods like the Trinity.
The document examines Jesus' claims to be the Messiah and God based on accounts from the Gospel of John during the last year of his life. It describes several events where Jesus performs miracles but the Jews reject him, demanding he state plainly if he is the Messiah. When Jesus says he and the Father are one, the Jews try to stone him for blasphemy. The document argues that either Jesus was telling the truth in his claims, or he was a liar or lunatic, based on the words and miracles attributed to him. It concludes by asking whether Jesus should be seen as the promised Messiah or a madman.

The document discusses the deity of Jesus Christ through several biblical passages. It explains that Matthew 28:18-20 reveals one God in three persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. John's gospel proves that Jesus claimed to be God by saying "I am" in several passages, and his miracles confirm this claim. Colossians 1:15-18 and Hebrews 1 show that Jesus created and sustains all things, and the angels worship him as God. Finally, John 3:16 says that Jesus' role was to die for humanity's sins. The document invites believers to submit to Jesus Christ for salvation.
Comparison Study Of Judaism, Christianity And Islamzakir2012
The document provides a comparison of key beliefs and practices in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It discusses their views on:
1) God - Judaism and Islam believe in one God while Christianity believes in the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2) Jesus - Judaism rejects Jesus as a prophet, Christianity sees him as God, and Islam sees him as a human prophet.
3) Holy books - Judaism's is the Torah, Christianity's are the Old and New Testaments, and Islam's is the Quran revealed to Muhammad in Arabic.
4) Circumcision - This is obligatory for men in Judaism and Islam
The document provides background on Jesus' life and mission according to Christian texts. It discusses how God created humanity to be like him, but the fall of man corrupted this. It was then the mission of the Messiah, Jesus, to restore what was lost as the new Adam. Jesus took on John the Baptist's failed mission and restored the three blessings by overcoming Satan's temptations in the wilderness. He preached and baptized as John had done before being imprisoned and killed, while Jesus continued his work of teaching and healing the people of Galilee.
The document provides details about Noah's Ark and its significance as a representation of salvation through Jesus Christ. It describes the Ark's invitation from God for Noah to enter, its materials of gopher wood and pitch which point to Jesus, and its size which indicates Jesus' sufficiency to save all who come to Him. Key elements of the Ark like its single door, window, and three levels picture theological truths of salvation through faith in Christ.
1) The document advertises an expedition to Antarctica in 1914 seeking men willing to accept hazardous conditions of small pay, bitter cold, darkness and danger in exchange for potential honor and recognition if successful.
2) It discusses biblical passages about God sending Jesus and Jesus then sending disciples to continue his work, and defines disciples as those learning to live their lives as if Jesus was living it with them.
3) The overall message is about continuing Jesus' work by making disciples and planting churches among all people groups and nations in his name despite difficulties, as part of God's mission to redeem all of creation.
The document provides 6 things to remember when studying the New Testament. It discusses how Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were not eyewitnesses to all the events they wrote about and relied on previously written sources. It notes that Luke and Mark were not eyewitnesses to Jesus' mortal ministry. It explains that the Gospels and Book of Mormon were compiled in a similar way from multiple sources. The document aims to help readers develop greater faith in Jesus Christ through studying the lives of Elizabeth, Zacharias, John the Baptist, Mary and Joseph.
Jesus performed many miracles during his ministry that were recorded in the Gospels. The miracles demonstrated his divine power and authority so that people would believe he was the Messiah and Son of God. Many miracles involved healing the sick. Jesus said that miracles occurred where people had faith in him. Although the primary purpose of the miracles was for people to believe in Jesus, most were more focused on the physical results than on Jesus' identity. Jesus' miracles fulfilled prophecies and showed that the Kingdom of God had come to save humanity from eternal damnation through his great love.
This document provides an overview of information related to understanding military culture and common mental health issues among veterans. It discusses the departments and branches of the US military, as well as military ranks, hierarchy, language, and general observations about military culture. Common mental health treatment issues among veterans that are covered include traumatic brain injury, PTSD, depression, suicide, substance abuse, and family issues. The document also provides information on the VA healthcare system and connecting veterans to community care providers.
What does it mean "taking the shield of faith"? Why does a Christian require a "shield"? What is faith? Is all faith the same? How does faith protect? Do you know how to use the "shield of faith"?
More is written about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ than of any other person in history. Why is that? What did He accomplish by dying on the cross? Why was His resurrection necessary? Is there strong attestation to Christ's resurrection? Must we believe He is alive today? How does the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth effect you?
All four Gospels -- Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John -- record the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into the city of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, Nisan 10. This study is an exposition of John 12:12-19 and answers the question: "What's most important about Palm Sunday?"
What does "having your feet shod with the gospel of peace" mean? How does a Christian prepare their feet? Why is comparing the armor of God to the Roman soldier inappropriate? To what is this metaphor more likely referring?
What is the Christian's "Breastplate of Righteousness" described in Ephesians 6? We are often told the believer's armor is to be compared to that of a Roman soldier. Is this accurate? Study this lesson, and if possible, listen on FaceBook or YouTube by typing my name and the title or text of this study.
The first piece mentioned in the panoply of the "armor of God" for the Christian is "the belt of truth." But, what is truth? Why is it listed first? Why is it vital and what does it protect? Jesus said to Pilate, "To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." (18:37)
George Washington said citizens owe a duty to defend their free government with their property and services. Haile Selassie issued an order to mobilize all able-bodied Ethiopians, including women and children, to fight the Italian invasion. The Bible passage from Ephesians exhorts believers to be strong in the Lord and put on the full armor of God to stand against spiritual attacks from Satan and fight against evil spiritual forces.
The document provides an overview of how Christians are called to "walk worthy" according to passages in Ephesians and other books of the Bible. It discusses that believers are to walk in unity, love, light, and by being filled with the Spirit. Specific instructions are given, such as putting off the old self and putting on the new, imitating God, and walking in wisdom. The goal is for believers to mature in Christ through developing humility, gentleness, patience, and by submitting to one another out of reverence for God.
What is the Bible all about? What is its purpose? How can we get the most out of studying the Bible?
This lesson is part of a series of studies entitle, "Living the Word" taught at the Lighthouse Freedom Center. These slides will help you if you're following us online on Sunday at 8:45.
In many ways Jacob is a picture of every person. We were all by nature selfish, deceitful, "graspers". Jacob is a type of our human carnal nature. But, Jacob changed! One night he wrestled with the Lord and begged for a blessing. His blessing came in the form of a changed character, reflected in his new name: Israel. Israel is a picture of a person changed by God, someone with whom the Spirit of God dwells.
A. When? The vision occurred in the year that King Uzziah died.
B. What? Isaiah saw God sitting on a throne and was overwhelmed by God's holiness, confessing his own sinfulness. A seraphim then cleansed Isaiah's sins with a burning coal.
C. Why? God then commissioned Isaiah to go and speak for God, to which Isaiah responded saying "Here am I, send me."
God's sovereignty is evident in every aspect of life. Redemption is the overarching purpose of divine sovereignty. Genesis 31 reveals God's hand and heart in Jacob's relationship with Laban, a wiley, manipulative uncle, father-in-law, employer. This chapter is filled with lots of practical, relevant lessons in God's redemption for all of us.
The document summarizes several passages from the gospels describing Jesus' interactions with various disciples and others after his resurrection. It describes how two disciples traveling to Emmaus encounter Jesus but do not recognize him, and how he explains to them prophecies about the Messiah. It also recounts how Jesus later reveals himself to the disciples during a meal and to Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb.
What prevents world unity? Why have the world’s best of intentions and brightest of minds failed, abysmally, and repeatedly to achieve world unity and peace? What are common causes for disunity and conflict among Christians? How can church conflict strengthen and improve a congregation? When is church conflict destructive? What does James say is a common cause for conflict among Christians? (Jas. 4:1) What four steps does James give believers for conflict resolution? (Jas. 4:1-3; 4-6; 7-10; 11-12)
Jacob employed selective breeding strategies with Laban's cattle and flocks in order to increase his own herds. He used visual cues and separated the stronger specimens for breeding to concentrate desirable traits. As a result, Jacob's herds greatly increased in number while Laban's decreased, allowing Jacob to acquire significant wealth before leaving Padan Aram.
How is COVID-19 different from previous pandemics in history? How does the Coronavirus compare to future pestilences prophesied in the Bible? Do you think God sent the Coronavirus as a harbinger of future pandemics? If so, what should be learn about God and ourselves during COVID-19? As Christians how should we respond to pandemics? Do you have peace and hope? Why? How is your life, currently, giving others, especially non-Christians, cause to ask you for “an answer (lit. the reason) for the hope that lies in you”? (1 Peter 3:15)
God teaches each of us using sometimes intensely painful circumstances to inculcate profound and powerful lessons. Such was the case with Jacob, the deceiver, who spent 20 years with his uncle Laban being on the receiving end of deceitfulness. Everyone, Jacob and Laban, Leah and Rachel, and Zilpah and Bilhah learn life's lessons in God's classroom, known as Genesis 29.
How has COVID-19 changed you? Has the Coronavirus in any way changed your view of yourself, of the world, and of God? If so, have these changes been positive? Explain. As much as we may value science and medicine, what inherent limitations prevent us from basing our lives on them? (2 Timothy 6:19-21) How did each of the plagues defeat a god in Egypt? (Exodus 7-12) How do you think God, the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ, is challenging the gods of our world today through COVID-19? (1 Samuel 17:47; 2 Chronicles 20:15-16; Zechariah 4:6)
Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Chandra Dev: Unveiling the Mystery of the Moon GodExotic India
Shining brightly in the sky, some days more than others, the Moon in popular culture is a symbol of love, romance, and beauty. The ancient Hindu texts, however, mention the Moon as an intriguing and powerful being, worshiped by sages as Chandra.

saying the really foolish things that
people often say about Him: ‘I’m ready

teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to

not say. A man who was merely a man
and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a
great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic –

46. THE NATURE OF GOD & CHRIST
What do you Believe about Jesus?
When it comes to Americans with “evangelical
beliefs”, the survey found that a majority say:
Ø Most people are basically good (52%)
Ø God accepts the worship of all religions (51%)
Ø Jesus was the first and greatest being created
by God the Father (78%)
47. THE NATURE OF GOD & CHRIST
What do you Believe about Jesus?
“Strangely, while most evangelicals strongly
believe in justification by faith alone, they are
confused about the person of Jesus Christ. On
one hand, virtually all evangelicals express
support for Trinitarian doctrine. Yet at the same
time, most agree that Jesus is the first and
greatest being created by God, which was a
view espoused by the ancient heretic Arius.”
48. THE NATURE OF GOD & CHRIST
What do you Believe about Jesus?
“These results show the pressing need for
Christians to be taught Christology, especially as
the outcome has gotten worse since 2016.
There is a general lack of teaching today on the
person of Christ, a doctrine for which the early
church fought so hard.”
