A detective, Harrison Jones, arrives at a police station to interview Emma French, a 20-year old woman found disoriented with a bloody head wound. Emma is reluctant to cooperate at first but decides to speak with the detective. Harrison turns on a tape recorder and asks Emma to describe what happened, being as specific as possible. Emma begins her recounting of the events that led her to be questioned as a witness at the station.

1. The Suspect

2. THE SUSPECT:
FADE IN:
A dark corridor INT. The sound of a dripping pipe gives the
impression of isolation.
CUT TO:
We see a door with the words "Room One" on it. The door
looks old and well used.
CUT TO:
There’s a woman, EMMA FRENCH, 20, looking disorientated. She
has a bloody cut on her head , which looks dry as if the cut
had been there for a while, the woman is wearing a bloody
top.
CUT TO:
A male detective, HARRISON JONES, 24, walks down the
corridor, confidently. He is wearing a work shirt and
trousers hinting to the audience that he is good at what he
does. The audience assumes that he is going to see the
woman in the room. He is heads towards the door.
CUT TO:
A side view of the door and the man reaches for the door
handle.
CUT TO:
Extreme close up of his hand. The man hesitates, taking a
deep breath before pushing his way in to the room.
CUT TO:
We now see the room in detail, there is a table with a tape
recorder placed on the right of it, there are three chairs,
two on one side of the table one on the other. We know that
the women is a witness and is now going to be interviewed.
CUT TO:
An over the shoulder shot shows EMMA sat with her back to
the camera. We see the detective take the chair opposite her
and watch him turn on the tape recorder.

THE INTERVIEW
CUT TO:
CU of detective as he begins to speak
DETECTIVE HARRISON JONES
Interview comenced at 2:55 PM.
Present are Detective Harrison
Jones and the witness, who will now
state her name..
The shot turns to EMMA, she is considering whether to
coperate with the Detective, she decides too.
EMMA FRENCH
..My names Emma French.
