Leadership is a vital quality to develop for anyone who wants to be active in the creation of their future - personal, familial, social, organizational, societal, political and global. Leadership is a being function: you are a leader, not based on specific actions but based on the quality of your presence and being.
And through the 7 virtues code of samurai we can learn more how a Japanese warrior Samurai is trained for both skill of war and skill of philosophy (The Pen and the sword). Now we can also implement this way of Samurai in modern time for business man character building.
This lesson takes 2 days to cover. The presentation is augmented by several short film clips and further information each day supplied by prezi presentations. The first day starts with a writing activity to pull up prior knowledge. After Slide 7, I used the prezi here: https://prezi.com/i1eiqgtb20iz/copy-of-tokugawa-japan/ then play slide 8 and watch a clip of "Memoirs of a Geisha" to end... Day 2 opens with slide 9 and the 1980s song "Turning Japanese", then begin the next prezi at "Isolation and Decline" after students have responded to the prompt on slide 12: https://prezi.com/memztvyt4ew7/copy-of-tokugawa-japan-the-meiji-restoration-and-the-making-of-mod/ ...slideshow is then finished to discuss Meiji Restoration and effects.
- Feudal Japan began with the Yamato Period from 300-710 CE when Japanese rulers began adopting Chinese culture like Confucianism, Buddhism, language, and architecture.
- The Heian Period from 794-1156 CE saw the growth of large estates and refinement of court life, with the development of Japanese literature and arts influenced by but distinct from Chinese models.
- Feudalism developed in Japan with the emperor at the top and a system of loyalty and military service between shoguns, daimyo, and samurai down to peasants, as in medieval Europe. This period saw the rise of bushido, the samurai code of honor.
1) Medieval Japan was ruled by powerful military rulers called shoguns after a period of feudalism dominated the country.
2) Samurai warriors gained power and formed private armies to serve powerful nobles called daimyos. Eventually, one daimyo became the most powerful and took the title of shogun in 1192.
3) In 1603, Tokugawa Ieyasu established the Tokugawa Shogunate and divided Japan into 250 regions controlled by daimyos loyal to the shogun in order to bring order and end fighting between daimyos. The shoguns then isolated Japan from foreign influence by banning travel outside the country.
Feudalism developed in Japan as powerful clans and nobles (daimyo) gained independence and rivaled the emperor for control in the 9th-12th centuries. This led to many wars until a shogun unified the country in 1192, taking real power from the emperor. In the Edo Period starting in 1603, Tokugawa Ieyasu became shogun and established a feudal system with the daimyo lords divided under his control through a system of rotating residence, hostages, and obligations. This strict system maintained peace for over 250 years under 15 generations of Tokugawa rule.

Turin is the fourth largest city in Italy, located in northwest Italy. It has a population of around 910,946. Turin is known for its automobile manufacturing industries and was originally occupied by the Taurini tribe. Some key facts about Turin are that it is the capital of the Piedmont region and lies along the rivers Dora and Po. It has a long history dating back to Roman times and was ruled by the Savoy royal family in the Middle Ages. Famous people from Turin include Gianni Agnelli, Carla Bruni, and Luca Argentero.
The Heian period in Japan lasted from the 790s to the late 1100s. During this time, Kyoto was established as the imperial capital and the Fujiwara clan gained power by intermarrying with the imperial family and taking control of the emperor and court. Chinese ideas like Buddhism and literature were introduced and adapted to Japanese culture. The Tendai and Shingon schools of Buddhism spread widely. The imperial court focused on refinement of arts and ceremonies. Eventually, military clans like the Minamoto and Taira grew in strength and fought for dominance, leading to the establishment of a new government in Kamakura.
After World War 1, Japan expanded its empire by seizing territories from Germany and forcing concessions from China. As Japan grew more militaristic and discriminatory, it clashed with Western powers and was excluded from the League of Nations in 1933. Domestic problems like overpopulation and economic issues led Japan to abandon democracy and come under military rule. With a strong military and a sense of hopelessness, Japan embarked on a path towards war.
This document summarizes the emergence of civilization in Japan during the Asuka and Nara periods. It describes how during the Asuka period from 538 to 710 AD, fine arts and architecture flourished under Chinese and Buddhist influences. Shotoku Taishi established a 17-article constitution known as Shotoku's Constitution. The Taika reforms later introduced taxation, land distribution, and a provincial system run by officials reporting to the emperor. The new capital of Nara, built in 710 AD, was designed as a holy place with many Buddhist temples, shrines and gardens, marking Japan's emergence as an important Asian civilization.
Fahad Alatas wrote about modernization in Japan during the mid-1800s. The Meiji Restoration established imperial rule and Emperor Mutsuhito. This began a new era with the capital moving from Kyoto to Tokyo. The new government introduced modernization through industrialization, education, and contact with Europe and America. Japan's military successes expanded its control over East Asia and the Pacific through wars with China over Korea and a rivalry with Russia.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
