This document outlines The Self-Empowerment Pledge, which consists of seven promises to repeat daily in order to change one's life. The promises are: be responsible, be accountable, be determined, contribute to others, be resilient in the face of adversity, maintain a positive perspective, and have faith. Repeating these promises throughout the day causes cognitive dissonance when one's actions do not align, forcing a change in attitudes and behaviors over time. Investing just one minute a day, by repeating one promise four times, can profoundly and permanently change one's life for the better personally, professionally, financially, and spiritually.

Any individuals who are in the business of leading, motivating and inspiring others should
give careful consideration to embarking on a self-development program of any kind first to
have a critical look at them. This is important to knowing yourself well in order to determine
what areas that need further improvement
Now take a look at what you had wrote in the paper, I want you to embrace your strengths
and begin to genuinely accept and acknowledge your weaknesses. Because you see, if you
can’t even accept that part of yours, it is very hard to move forward to the next stage
Manifestation Power is a personal transformational course designed to help you - or anyone - discover his or her inner desire and passions, and manifest them into reality.
The idea of manifestation does not discriminate your age, profession, gender, current circumstances in life, religion, or creed.
The only criteria is having an open mind and willingness to try.
The principles and strategies take only 10 minutes a day (or less) to do - and after consistent practice, the manifestation of your desires becomes automatic.
20. I will take complete responsibility for my health, my happiness, my success, and my life, and will not blame others for my problems or predicaments.
22. I will not allow low self-esteem, self-limiting beliefs, or the negativity of others to prevent me from achieving my authentic goals and from becoming the person I am meant to be.
24. I will do the things I’m afraid to do, but which I know should be done. Sometimes this will mean asking for help to do that which I cannot do by myself.
28. I will face rejection and failure with courage, awareness, and perseverance, making these experiences the platform for future acceptance and success.
34. You keep promising yourself that you will be responsible, accountable, and determined; make a contribution, be resilient in the face of adversity, have a positive perspective, and that your faith will shine through.
35. Then you catch yourself whining and complaining, procrastinating, gossiping, blaming others for your problems, taking when you should be giving, and pretendingthat you have no power.
36. You end up with what psychologists call… Cognitive Dissonance
37. Which is trying to simultaneously hold two incompatible beliefs I am responsible, accountable, and determined! It’s not my fault, they did it to me, this is so unfair.
38. At that point, one of two things MUST happen. Either you take the easy way and stop making the promises…
39. Or you keep making the promises until you begin to change your attitudes and yourbehaviors.
40. And as you do that, you will begin to achieve better results in every dimension of your life.

44. Question #1: If you personally were to take these seven promises to heart, would you be better off than where you are headed now – personally, professionally, financially, and spiritually?
45. Question #2: If everyone where you work made a good faith effort to live these seven promises, would you do a better job of serving customers and of supporting each other?
46. If your answer to these two questions is… And if you’re being honest, that’s what your answer will be.
47. Then why wouldn’t you invest those 365 minutes in yourself? Do it, because no one can empower you but you.
