The Red Brocket Deer is a species of deer found in Central and South America scientifically known as mazama americana. It has reddish brown fur and grows between 2 to 4 feet tall weighing 35 to 55 pounds, eating plants and fruits and avoiding predators such as humans, snakes, eagles, weasels, dogs, jaguars and pumas through its habitat in dense jungles, marshes, swamps and forests.
