The REBEL
• “The Rebel“ is a lightly expressed poem written in
a casual style free of any bitterness or criticism.
The poet shows the character of rebel. One who
does not conform to the norms of society and has a
contradictory attitude based on self-assertion.
Introduction
• This is not typically a political rebel who wants a
revolution in the country, but this is a common
teenager boy who, for his inexperience, exhibits
himself so as to draw attention.
• Do you know anyone who always disagrees with
you or your friends or likes to do the opposite of
what everyone thinks they should do?
A True Rebel
• A participant in a rebellion.
• He believes that I’m right.
• Sometimes working against his own self
interest.
Attitude
• He stood up those who were fake or harassed
others for being different.
• He proud to be a itself.
• Do you hate being told want to do? May be you’re a
rebel.
Thinking like a Rebel
• Hold unpopular views on political and social
issues.
• Question popular and common beliefs.
• Know that some conformity is normal.
• Think of rebellion as a movement, not just an
attitude.
Rebels at work
• Be positive.
• Frame it.
• Stay out of drama.
• Judge ideas, not people.
• When angry, stop and wonder why.
• Strive for influence not power.
• Start the flame, tap into the collective.
• Share the glory.
• Communicate in ways that create clarity from
complexity.
• Let ideas breathe.
• Ask good questions, become a keen listener.
• Learn how to facilitate messy collaboration.
• Address the fears.
• Show how success can be measured.
• Learn how to have constructive conversations.
• Be thoughtful in all you do.
• Know when to walk away.
• Believe you are enough.
Desire of Rebels
• They want to bring change in society
• The want to reform the society in shape of leaders.
