17. Better media – stronger democracy Abraham Lincoln once said, “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crises. The great point is to bring them the real facts.” Citizen activism brought us the 40-hour work week and gave women the right to vote, and it will be citizen activism that brings us the quality media we deserve.
