Step 1: Set a Timer for 25 Minutes
● Set a timer for 25 minutes to focus on a
single task.
● The timer serves as a time management
tool and a reminder of the task at hand.
Step 2: Work on the Task
● Once the timer is set, focus on the task at
hand.
● Avoid multitasking during this period.
● If a distracting thought comes up, make a note
of it and get back to the task.
● Get up and move around to refresh your
mind and body
● Engage in a quick, relaxing activity to de-
stress
● Avoid starting any new tasks during the
break. It's a time to rest.
Step 3: Take a Short Break
● Start the timer for another 25 minutes
● Continue working on the task
● Take a short break after the 25 minutes
are up
● Repeat this cycle for a few iterations until
you need a longer break
