THE PILLARS OF JOY!
The joy of the runner is to see himself at the top of the race; he
concentrates most of his energy in seeing himself through. If you
have ran, you know that moment when your legs are calling for a
stop, but your heart drags you to the finishing line.
The joy of life lies in the moment when you see that project now
finished; a student looks ahead when his studies will be well
completed, the joy of employing his skills in bettering his country,
and bettering the world. The smile that brightens your face when
you are being applauded for a job well done. The farmer rejoices just
after sowing his seed, he has taken the first step to his harvest.
Joy can well in one’s heart when he/she begins what he shall call
his/her achievement, with all thoroughness and excellence he lays
atom-after-atom, protocol-after-protocol, and plan-after-plan. He
does not concentrate much in the weeds that grow alongside his
crops; but the joy of seeing his harvest makes him to lift the hoe and
remove obstructing characters.
The pain of labour and the need to wake-up early a man does not
feel, but all that runs in his veins is the joy of seeing his children
with a strong backbone… that his children may face their own lives
with confidence and determination only to do better.
A generation that will rise to build, a God fearing generation.
“And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former
desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of
many generations” Isaiah 61:4.
