A little take on how to properly wear your makeup and cologne for everyday life. The scent should not last long after you leave the room...

1. The perfume that lingers.....
Don't you hate it when....You are walking down the isle at the store and a woman or man pass you
by, but leave a trail of cologne behind them. The idea behind cologne, perfume, body spray, etc.
is to give you a pleasant smell when those are close to you. Meaning, they must be in your
personal space in order to smell it, it is meant to be intriguing and spark interest, it is not meant to
be used as mustard gas and sprayed everywhere. You should not literally fill others nostrils with
your scent of choice by walking by them, you are defeating the purpose, which is to get
close. Same goes for make-up ladies, stop putting it on with a spatula. Makeup is meant to bring
out highlights of your natural look, such as higher cheekbones or highlighting the eyes and
lashes. It is not meant to change your appearance to the point of not recognizing you without
it. These woman who can not go anywhere without putting their makeup on first, even to drop
kids off at school or the grocery store for milk. It is fine to take pride in your appearance and to
be aware of how you look when going out into public, I wish more people did, however someone
sometime will have to see you without the cover. Don't hide what god gave you, embrace it and
accent features that you love. We no longer need to match our eye color to our clothing as we
may have in the seventies, blue pants means blue eye shadow and so forth. Highlight your looks
with the colors that go best with your skin tones and I can assure you that your eyes covered in
purple does not do you justice. Don't dress to impress others, keep it real for yourself.... Rant
