This is the first stage.
4. In this cycle the eggs have been hatched and it is
now the larva cycle.
During this cycle the larva does a bunch of eating
to get strong.
They look like colorful worms.
5. The larva in this stage does not eat in this cycle.
The chrysalis cycle can last a few days to many
months.
They hide or camouflage themselves so they
aren’t seen.
6. This is the last stage and a butterfly is
fully grown.
Their wings are wrinkled and wet, they
have to let them dry out in order to fly.
