time to celebrate all the amazing things you have
accomplished and tap into that feeling.
‣ Lasting Impression: How did others respond to your actions
in a difficult situation? What did you put on rewind and what
you change? Don’t dwell on the rewind learn from it and move
on.
‣ Enjoy the ride: If life was perfect-how boring! Each time you
try something you make progress and along the way you are
creating the “I CAN” belief in yourself.

“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the
length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.”
- Diane Ackerman
‣ Believe. You might be thinking “I am the only one who has to face
this, or do this or…fill in the blank”. Know and believe you are not
alone. Others have taken this path and succeed before you.
‣ Accept Imperfection: The notation that life is like the
movies…well we all know it isn’t. You can create your own story
with an ending that is even better if you allow yourself to be good
enough just as you are.
‣ Ask For Help: You have a best friend? She is only a call (or text!)
away. Don’t think you are a hero for going it by yourself. The true
heroine gets help when she needs it.

‣ Be Thankful: Whenever we start to feel bad about a situation
we tend to forget about all that we have in our lives that is
going well. When we express gratitude it immediately makes
us feel invincible.
‣ Be Generous: You have so many gifts that you are taken for
granted. That skill that everyone comes to you for…use it to
help someone in need. Watch how it makes you feel inside!
‣ Feel the Adrenaline Rush: If you haven’t exercised out in
awhile this is the time. It gives clarity, builds stamina and you
will forget everything you worried about and feel totally
confident after accomplishing anything on your schedule.
9. The Leader In You- Be Your Own Shero
“We can't become what we need to be by remaining what we are.”
- Oprah Winfrey
‣ Start with what you know: Ask 10 people to write down 3 of
your strengths. Now you do it. Are they the same? Make it a
best practice to embrace and share what others see in you.
‣ Visualize getting to yes: In any scenario, the goal is to find a
way to feel good and say YES! I did it. What does that look like to
you? Share enthusiasm and your leadership vision with your
team.
‣ Imagine A Time When: You felt invincible. What did it feel like?
Write it down! Set a daily intention to tap into your inner strength.
