Is an inner drive that causes you to do something and persevere at something.
While ability refers to what children can do, motivation refers to what this children will do.
Motivation refers to the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of behavior.
When we get motivated to do something, it is not enough that we start working at that thing but that we get attracted to it.
Our attraction towards it becomes so intense that we persist working on it through thick and thin until its completion.
-Indicators of a High Level of Motivation
Your students level of motivation is shown in his/her choice of action, intensity and persistence of effort. If you have a highly motivated student, you have a student who is excited about learning and accomplishing things. S/he has takes the initiative to undertake learning task, assignments and projects without being pushed by his or her teachers and parents.
S/he has goals to accomplish and dreams to realize. S/he is convinced that accomplishing the things s/he is asked to accomplish in class helps her/him realize the goals s/he has set for herself/himself and his/her dream in life. S/he is willing to give up the satisfaction of immediate goals for the sake of more important remote goals.

The term Joncunu comes in many other forms, such as, Junkanoo, Jonkonnnu, Jonkanu, Jankunu. The dance is West African in origin deriving from African slaves and is a traditional festival form still practiced in what was the British West Indies—in The Bahamas, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis etc. It is a satirical dance where dancers by the attire including the mask, mock and ridicule the colonial slave masters dancing to a fast tempo. In the Garifuna language the dance is called Wanaragua.

5. The origin of the festival is not clearly known. Some believe that the name
Junkanoo comes from the French "L'inconnu" which means the unknown. This
may be correct as the paraders wear mask to cover up their faces. It could also
mean "junk enough;" or "John Canoe”, in reference to the name of an African
tribal chief. He felt that he should celebrate with his people even after coming to
the West Indies as a slave. It was said to start in the 16th or 17th century

get a good idea how colorful is it. You may find people dancing and
enjoying themselves in colorful costumes and holding intricately
designed banners.

the best costume. Costume designs are not unveiled until the participation day.
