What do I have to do?
 Make deduction* using the clues found in the
passage.
 *deduction = to reach a conclusion by thinking about
the information that is available
 Read between the lines and figure out what the
author is implying or suggesting.
Examples from past year papers
1. Suggest the reason why Fiorelli insisted that
discoveries “were left in place” (line61) and not
removed to museums.
2. Fiorelli’s excavations told a story of “ordinary life
stopped in its tracks” (line 72). What does the
author’s expression here tells us about the nature
