This document describes the characteristics of hummingbirds, which are among the smallest birds in the world. Hummingbirds belong to the bird and vertebrate family, have warm blood, bones, and eat pollen, insects, and spiders. They lay eggs, are very small at about 8 cm long and 2 g, make noise from fast wing movement, and have a tail, feathers, wings, long tongue, and beak. They can fly and walk and live in America.
