 Wales is a country that is
part of the UNITED
KINGDON and the island of
GREAT BRITAIN.
 The leek is a national symbol in Wales
and the daffodil is the national flower.
 The city of Cardiff is the capital of Wales and it
is the largest city. The second largest city is
Swansea. Both are situated on the coast.
 Wales is a very beautiful country, it has got green
countryside and it is very mountainous. Snowdon
is its highest mountain.
 Snowdon is the most beautiful mountain for
tourists and the rest of the people.
 Snowdon is 1,085 metres high.
 It is situated in
the heart of
Snowdonia
National Park,
142.9 miles
far from Cardiff,
the capital city of Wales.
 You can practise a lot of original sports and outdoor
activities in Snowdonia National Park: hiking, rock
climbing, kayaking, canyoning, mountain biking,
canoeing, horse riding, balloon riding…etc
 You can also do zip lining at a very fast speed or
jump from a high trampoline in a cave with a large
net to bounce below* underground.
