1. The Future
Subject + Will + verb = Predictions based on what we think, decisions or promises or offers.
Ex:
- Tom will never get married
- I will buy this dress
- I will give it to you
Subject + Be going to + verb = Predictions based on what we see, future plans or intentions.
Ex:
- Look, the floor is slippery, she’s going to fall
-Now that he is a famous musician, he is going to buy a new house
Subject + is, are or am + Verb -ing = Present Continuous used for fixed arrangements (something you are sure is going to
happen)
Ex:
- John is having a Christmas dinner tomorrow.
