1. Adam and Eve lived in a beautiful garden made by God but were tempted by Satan in the form of a crafty serpent to eat the fruit from the forbidden tree. 2. Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, causing them to instantly know things they had never known before like realizing they were naked. 3. God confronted them about disobeying and eating the fruit, and they tried to blame each other. As punishment, God cursed the serpent to crawl on its belly, made childbirth painful for Eve, and made farming difficult for Adam before sending them out of the garden.
