The Episcopal Church Navajoland Area Mission serves the Navajo community across 26,000 square miles of the southwest United States. Established in 1978, the mission focuses on infrastructure projects, increasing Navajo representation in church leadership, and establishing a self-sufficient Navajo community with indigenous clergy. Current projects include renovating housing, building new low-income units with local governments, constructing education centers in traditional hogans, and developing sustainable farming and aquaponics plans.
