The man plants a seed that grows into a huge turnip. When he tries to pull it up, the enormous turnip doesn't budge. He calls on a woman, boy, girl, dog, and cat to help pull, but they still can't remove the giant vegetable. Finally, a mouse joins in and with everyone's combined efforts, they are able to pull up the enormous turnip and celebrate their success with a meal.

11. They see a girl. “ Come and help!” they said.

12. “ Pull!” says the boy. The girl pulls the boy. The boy pulls the woman. The woman pulls the man. He man pulls the turnip.

13. The turnip doesn’t move.

14. They see a dog. “ Come and help!” they say.
