3. Weekly HAR Market Stat The Houston regional housing market posted its second consecutive week of double-digit gains in pending sales. For the week ending March 13 there were 1,338 signed purchase agreements, up 10.9 percent from a year prior. On the supply side, new listings were down 11.4 percent for the same time period comparison. Despite the increases in sales and the decline in supply, there are some stubborn challenges that remain for sellers. While the Houston market is more stable than many others, smart pricing and marketing are still more important than ever.
