A new "Spouse PTSD
Support Group" is being
offered on Ft. Meade. It's
another great resource to
enhance the resiliency of
the spouses.
This group will meet from
1730 to 1930 on 7, 14, 21,
and 28 March. This is for
spouses whose loved ones
are exhibiting symptoms of
PTSD. It will help you un-
derstand PTSD and help
you cope with it.

Fort Meade to Host EFMP
Seminar on May 9th
Fort Meade will have a variety of experts who deal with the EFMP
program. Everything from a pediatrics specialist who can talk to
issues with children to finance folks who can talk about additional
benefits available to you if you have a child or spouse in the program.
This is open to everyone here at Ft Meade. If you have a family member in the EFMP program I would
highly recommend that you attend. I'm sure everyone will get something out of it.
If you are interested in attending please let MSgt Cunningham know by COB 2 May.
White House Easter Egg Roll Tickets
On Monday April 9, 2012, the First Family will host the 134th
annual White House Easter Egg Roll. This year's theme is “Let's
Go, Let's Play, Let's Move” and more than 35,000 people will be joining the First Family on the South Lawn for games, stories,
singing, dancing and, of course, the traditional egg roll on the Lawn.
Once again, tickets will be distributed through an online lottery system, allowing guests from across the United States to partici-
pate in a tradition that dates back to 1878. Starting on March 1 at 10 am EST, you can click here to enter the lottery and win a
chance to join the fun (the lottery closes at 10 am EST on March 5, 2012). The event is open to children aged 13 years and
younger and their families.
In addition to all the fun and games, the day's activities -- which will include sports courts and cooking demonstrations -- will
help educate families on smart ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise choices into their daily routines, which are key
pillars of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative.
Families and schools who can't make the trip to Washington, DC but want to participate in the festivities can enter the annual
poster contest.
