This document contains the Seventh Edition of the European Valuation Standards published in 2012 by TEGoVA (The European Group of Valuers' Associations).
It is divided into three parts: Part I establishes European Valuation Standards and applications, Part II provides an overview of relevant European Union legislation as it pertains to property valuation, and Part III includes technical documents for valuers.
Notable changes in the Seventh Edition include expanded coverage of the EU's influence on property and valuation, three additional valuation applications, and a new Part II on EU legislation. The additional applications provide guidance on cross-border valuation, property valuation under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, and the interaction between property valuation and energy efficiency requirements.
