As the medical director of the OSF SJMC PromptCare, Dr. Lamont Tyler is a leading urgent care and acute care practitioner. While earning his BS degree from Loyola University of Chicago with a focus in biology, Dr. Lamont Tyler served as a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Premedical Honor Society and also made the Dean’s List.

2. Introduction
• As the medical director of the OSF SJMC PromptCare, Dr.
Lamont Tyler is a leading urgent care and acute care
practitioner. While earning his BS degree from Loyola
University of Chicago with a focus in biology, Dr. Lamont
Tyler served as a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED)
Premedical Honor Society and also made the Dean’s List.
Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, Alpha Epsilon Delta is
a health preprofessional honor society that aids and
encourages students in their health and research
professional development. Four-year university students
studying health and medicine are eligible to join AED on the
basis of scholastic achievement.

3. Alpha Epsilon Delta
• For over 40 years, AED has hosted a biennial
convention for students to help them prepare for
graduate school. The convention is comprised of
guest speakers in the medical field, workshops,
and medical school tours. The AED national
convention also gives members a chance to
network with like-minded students. The 2016
convention was held in Houston from March 10-
