Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in
November. Americans gather for a day of feasting, football and family.
Thanksgiving Day is traditionally a day for families and friends to get together for a special
meal. The meal often includes a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin
pie, and vegetables.
Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.
Thanksgiving Day has been an annual holiday in the United States since 1863. Not
everyone sees Thanksgiving Day as a cause for celebration. Each year since 1970, a group of
Native Americans and their supporters have staged a protest for a National Day of
Mourning at Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving Day. American
Indian Heritage Day is also observed at this time of the year.
Thanksgiving day is the official
beginning of the Christmas
season. USA witnesses
maximum sales volume on
the very nest day. The
following Friday after
thanksgiving is famously
known as 'Black Friday'.
Be thankful for what you have;
you'll end up having more. If
you concentrate on what you
don't have, you will never, ever
have enough.
Gratitude can transform
common days into
Thanksgiving, turn routine
jobs into joy, and change
ordinary opportunities into
blessings
There are only two ways to live
your life. One is as though
nothing is a miracle. The other
is as though everything is a
miracle

A Turkey sat on the backyard fence
and he sang a sad sad tune.
Thanksgiving Day is coming
Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble
and I know I'll be eaten soooon,
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
I don't like Thanksgiving Day-ay-ay.
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
I think I'll run away-ay-ay.
Five little turkeys standing at the door,
One waddled off, and then there were four.
Four little turkeys sitting near a tree,
One waddled off, and then there were three.
Three little turkeys with nothing to do,
One waddled off, and then there were two.
Two little turkeys in the morning sun,
One waddled off, and then there was one.
One little turkey better run away,
For soon it will be Thanksgiving Day.
