Jesus explains the parable of the tares, saying that the field is the world and the good seed represent the sons of God while the tares represent the sons of the evil one who was sown by the devil. At the end of the age, the angels will gather all causes of sin and evildoers out of God's kingdom and throw them into a furnace of fire, while the righteous will shine forth in God's kingdom like the sun.
What does “Islam” mean?
The word الإسلام [Islam] is an infinitive word derived from س ل م [silm] root in if‘al pattern and used as noun and infinitive. The word silm means “release/keeping away; and to be distant from fear, doubt, trouble, lack of peace, unhappiness, fight, war, pain, suffering, material and spiritual inconveniences, weakness and decaying, and all the negativities.” This word is also the root of salim, selam, teslim, Islam etc. The word’s “Islam” form means “strengthening” [removal from problems, worries, fear, unhappiness, fights, wars, and similar negative things]. Hence, the religion Islam means the “the religion that strengthens humans [entire range of principles that protects and secures people by putting a distance between them and problems, worries, war, weakness, spiritual illness, unhappiness, and similar things].”
Why does evil seem to prosper and good suffer? God showers many blessings on the faithful and unfaithful alike. This may even be a catalyst for development of the good.
Preaching from Matt 13: 24-30, 36-43 on the Parable of the Wheat and Weeds, summarised as follows:
1. In the world we live in today, we are brought up with the message that life is in our hands. We are responsible for how we turn out to be. We thus are eager to take action, in life and in faith.
2. We thus may be quick to judge and quick to punish.
3. Jesus spoke on the need to allow the weeds to grow amongst the wheat and not for the slaves to pull out the weeds ahead of time: for the wheat may be damaged as well. Also, when the time came, it is the Angels’ role to gather the weeds, not that of the slaves.
4. Today therefore, I am reminded to not be to eager to cry for justice, but to pray for mercy and for God’s grace to touch the hearts of the seemingly lost, for it is God’s will that all be saved.
5. Let us not be too quick to call for punishment, when there are so many more that are still yet to turn to God.
6. If the sower allowed the slaves to prematurely pull out the weeds, even I will be lost in the flames.
So, in a hurry to prescribe judgement? pray for restraint on our part, so that God’s love May reach out to more, before He decides to pull out the weeds!

"I learned the emoji turned ten... know what creation is older???"
The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.

The Parable of the Tares Explained
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And
His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the
tares of the field.”
37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is
the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the
sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the
wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest
is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore
as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the
end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and
they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those
who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of
fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the
righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
