16. Texas Delivery of Electronic
Files
Viewing Records Online - Compex posts records on our secured website
and can be viewed by logging into the Repository. Records are downloaded
in PDF format (TIFF is available upon request)
File Transfer - Records are setup for FTP delivery based on push/pull
preference
Electronic Document Interface (EDI) – Document delivery can also be
programmed so documents can be directly transmitted into client’s
electronic claim/document management system based on requirements
(claim number structure or clients’ specific naming protocol)
Email - Compex can send the records via email. Compex does not
recommended sending PHI via email.
Storage - Compex stores all records in a closed file for at least one year or
any agreed upon period and give the ordering party unlimited access to the
files.
Multiple Party Viewing – Access may be limited to orders placed by the user
or full access may be provided so that user can view all orders placed by
the firm/agency. Third-Party access is available as well, if requested.
