This presentation discusses the Texas STaR Chart and its sections on internet connectivity, student and administrator technology proficiencies. It then focuses on a survey given at Caney Creek High School which found that the school's greatest strength was its leadership and instructional support, while the greatest weakness was lack of teacher education, training and access to technology. The conclusion emphasizes that integrated technology, access, ongoing support, infrastructure, instructional support and staff development are important areas for the school to focus on, such as providing teachers more technology training to help them become risk-takers in their implementation of classroom technology.
