Synopsis: Jesus’ interaction with the woman caught in adultery is very instructive in understanding why
Jesus came and how he fulfilled that purpose. It reminds us that Jesus often surprised the people of his
day because He acted in ways that they couldn’t even conceive. He reminds us not only that sin is very
serious but that we must be focused on mercy, not judgment.
“Let all that you do be done with love.”
