As the principal of Como Primary School I have been thrilled to work with Tracie
McDougall in her capacity as Chair of the Como Primary School Board over the past
eighteen months.
Tracie is a clear thinking, highly intelligent and articulate leader who has worked to
provide Como Primary School with a Board that is high functioning, relevant and
progressive. Tracie, through her dedication and leadership, has developed in the Board a
deep understanding of its School Governance responsibilities. She has ensured the
Board`s role was integral across a variety of School processes, namely; moving the
School to Independent Public School status, driving the Como Primary School Vision,
working to provide quality input into future School planning, policy making and School
self-review.
Tracie is an inclusive leader preferring to draw people along with her to work
harmoniously to achieve excellent outcomes. The Como Primary School Board members
come from all walks of life, Tracie possesses a wonderful ability to foster and produce the
best in people to achieve common goals.
