Position purpose is to manage software testing projects and resources on international projects.
Description:
The Test Manager is responsible for:
· building the Test Strategy for the solution
· development of Detailed Test Plans
· defining and executing on defect management processes, monitoring and communicating the test
project status
· resolve test project issues, and ensuring effective test process improvement feedback
· coordinating all corresponding test and release activities
Requirements:
Knowledge of SW development methodologies (i.e. agile, scrum...) and the role of the testing in them
- knowledge of SW testing types (e.g. acceptance testing, smoke test, basic acceptance testing, ad-
hoc testing, exploratory testing, functional and non-functional testing, stress test, regression testing
etc.).
- create master test plan, test effort estimation, choose testing strategies, prioritizing
- ability to create test reports
- defect detection and its life cycle
- knowledge of QA tools (manager level - e.g. creating reports)
- soft skills, leadership
- experience of leading large and diverse testing teams and projects
- ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- ability to multi task and manage multiple streams of activity shifting focus regularly
