This document discusses different types of terrorism including separatist, political, state, and religious terrorism. It provides examples of major terrorist attacks including 9/11 in New York City, the Mumbai bombings of 2006 and 2008, the Peshawar school attack of 2014, and the Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris. The document also lists some of the main reasons for terrorist attacks in India such as lack of security, poverty, lack of education, unemployment, disunity among peoples, and lack of instant action against terrorism. 2. WHAT IS
TERRORISM???
Terrorism refer only to those
violent acts that are intended to
create fear (terror) are perpetrated
for a religious, political, or
ideological goal.
The word "terrorism" is politically
loaded and emotionally charged.

3. Terrorism comes from the Latin word terreo meaning
“I frighten”.
Terrorism originally referred to the acts committed by
the government but currently it is referred to the killing
of innocent people for political purpose.

4. Separatist Terrorism:
Separatist seek to cause fragmentation within a
country & establish a new state. E.g. India &
Pakistan division .
Political Terrorism:
Violent criminal behavior designed primarily to
generate fear in the community.

5. State Terrorism:
State Terrorism is entirely carried out by the
group holding power in a country & not a non-
governmental organization. E.g.- French Revolution
(1793)
Religious Terrorism:
Terrorism can be motivated by religious ideology
and grievances. E.g. Al-Qaeda , the most prominent
example..!!!!

24. REASONS FOR TERRORISTS ATTACK
IN INDIA

25. 1.Lack of Security or Ignorance
The main reason of Terrorism is Lack of
Security. How terrorist enter in India? How they did
bomb blast in India? All these question every Indians
want to ask to the Security system of India. The
security agencies are only hired for providing
security to celebrity, politicians etc. These agencies
are not for the common man its just only for
politicians and celebs..!!

26. 2.Poverty, Lack of Education and Unemployment
No one is born as a terrorist the situation will
make a terrorist. What’s the difference between we
and Kasab. Due to Poverty, Lack of Education and
Unemployment he was forced to enter the world of
terrorism!!! & still there are many more…….

27. 3.Disunity
India is a multicultural country. Because of
different culture, we find the differences between
the people. Politicians are using this disunity of
people for their politic purpose and politicians
creates the Political terrorism.

28. 4.Not taking an instant action against the terrorism
In India many terror attacks had happened .But
India’s defense system are not taking strict action
against the terrorism. Indian system is not
implementing any rules which are affecting the
terrorism

29. How to stop Terrorism?
We can’t directly stop Terrorism, but we can control
Terrorism by reducing the corruption and poverty,
developing the unity among the people etc.
Awareness and education: Compulsory courses have
to be taken in schools and colleges to make the
awareness of terrorism. Public have to inform to the
nearby police station immediately, if there is any
suspicious activity occurs and police have to take the
action without failure.
Taking an strict action against Terrorism:
Government have to take strict action against
Terrorism. Government have to increase security of
India.
