WORK HISTORY
Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator, Victoria – Nuplex Industries (2000 to present)
Nuplex is an international company servicing a wide range of industries (including chemicals, plastics,
resins, surfactants, healthcare, food and composite) by sourcing products from around the world and/or
locally developing and manufacturing products at its world class facilities around Australia to meet
customer’s unique requirements.
Responsibilities:-
Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock, deliveries and logistics for both on-site and third party
facilities in Victoria for Nuplex-Speciality division
Coordinate on-site inventory storage and licence limits, including dangerous goods (3, 5, 6, and
8), healthcare, pharmaceutical, and controlled substances
Monitor stock levels and carry out periodic cycle counts, including batch turnover (oldest batch
out first)
Supervise up to 5 employees, including any temporary causals
Interview prospective employees and train new staff members
Coordinate daily despatches, including batch tracking goods and overall presentation of
packaging meets customer specific requirements
Load containers, pallets and trucks for delivery via road for local, interstate and international
destinations
Coordinate daily receipts, including inspecting packaging prior to unload; recording batch
number/s; storing inventory accordingly
Liaise with all parties involved in import and domestic movements of stock including AQIS,
customs, transport companies and freight forwarders
Complete necessary paperwork for domestic movements and export. This includes preparing
relevant despatch paperwork documents, like delivery note, dangerous goods ERG and/or
IMDG, MSDS, certificate-of-analysis for necessary batches
2. Record all stock movements and deliveries in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX2009) and
prepare regular reports. This includes maintaining records for compliance with regulatory and
statutory requirements.
Manage warehouse costing, including raising purchase orders and authorising warehouse direct
expense invoices for payment
Despatch Coordinator – Telstra Mobilenet Warehousing (1999-2000)
Telstra-Clayton warehouse was the distribution centre for mobile phones for Australia wide. Employing
only seven people, this distribution centre despatched over 15,000 mobile phones weekly.
Responsibilities:-
Ensure an average of 3,000 mobile phones despatched daily
Transport, organising all despatch requirements daily
Liaise with Warehouse Manager on corrupt mobile phones
Liaise with inwards good officer to ensure all goods were scanned in correctly.
General Hand – Shell (1998-1999)

Introduced preventative maintenance program for forklifts.
Warehouse Supervisor – V/Line (1978-1998)
Commencing with Victorian Railways in 1978 as an apprentice tinsmith, I progressed to tradesman in
1982, and in 1986 moved into a warehouse position. In 1990 I progressed to storeman-in-charge
culminating in becoming warehouse Supervisor in 1994. The warehouse located at Spotswood was
responsible for distribution of all rail and associated fastenings Victoria wide. After 20 years with the
railways I took a voluntary redundancy package in 1998.
Achievements:-
Introduce safe working practices in the handling of rail and gantry operations.
Restructuring resulting in the reduction of staff from 14 to 5 while maintaining workload and
output.
Reduction of warehouse floor stock from $4.3mil to $2.1mil whilst maintaining critical stock
levels.
Restructured rail timetables to minimise locomotive time at siding.
Introduced between effective communication between rail welders and warehouse to ensure safe
stocking levels.
