4. Preface
Term paper is the requirement for the MBA program. It is an opportunity for the students
to gather more knowledge through this program. The topic of my report is “ Convention
Site” . In this report a detailed and statistical approach of the hotel selection and a
recommendation has been discussed that will be selected for the next year’s National
Convention.
The convention is usually attended by 500 members. I worked hard for analyzing and
comparing both in the terms of features, values and prices of three hotels named Omni
Hotel Atlanta,The Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles,The Ritz Carlton Hotel New
York regarding their services, recreation facilities, Convention Hall facilities and
Meeting places etc.
The report is divided into four chapters. In the first introductory chapter. In the second
chapter focused on details facility of Hotels . The third chapter is Data Acquisition and
Comparison and chapter four is Recommendation and Conclusion.

I am assumed the chairman of a committee that will make recommendation to the board
of directors about the location of next years National Convention.
The convention is usually attended by 500 members, Hotels in three cities have submitted
bids. Using following data list and development process for informal report, analyze the
data, draw conclusion and to make recommendation for a convention site.

Recommendation
After analyzing the facilities and expenses of Omni Hotel CNN Center Atlanta, The
Beverly Hills Hotel Los Angeles and The Ritz-Carlton New York I found that, Omni
Hotel CNN Center Atlanta is suitable in terms of cost , facility , accommodation and
location.
My objectives is to arrange a successful National Convention in terms of member’s
security, facility, location, privacy and convention center which might have enough seat
capacity, audio video system, sound system, dining hall, High speed internet facility,
Currency exchange and other equipments which necessary for a national convention.
According to my study and analytical data presented I recommend Omni Hotel CNN
Center Atlanta should be selected for next National Convention because it has all
facility and necessary equipments to arrange National convention at minimum cost
Without hassles.
