Telling the Story

Story Order
For your Show-and-Tell speech, you need to be able to tell the story of your item or pet.
Most people tell stories about 1) how they got their item/pet or about 2) when or how
this item / pet became a favorite thing.!

!
!
!
One of the easiest ways to tell this kind of story and make it interesting is simply to tell
your story in chronological order (time order). Take your audience along with you
through the experience. During your story, asking questions to your audience also helps
to keep them interested in your story. !
