Lois Teicher is a sculptor based in Detroit, Michigan who has created numerous site-specific steel, aluminum, and stainless steel sculptures commissioned for public and private spaces since 1979. She received her MFA from Eastern Michigan University and BFA from the College for Creative Studies. Teicher has received many awards including the Maas Prize and Michigan Governor's Award for Lifetime Achievement. Her work is included in the collections of major museums and she has had solo exhibitions nationally and internationally.
