This document outlines a cultural exchange project between a primary school in Hungary and other international partners where students will discuss topics each month about life in their countries using Skype and web 2.0 tools and create a wiki to highlight differences and similarities. The goals of the project are for students to learn more about other cultures, practice their English skills, and potentially make international friends through discussing topics like schools, holidays, music, sports and more. A wiki has been created at www.lifeinourcountries.wikispaces.com to edit and share content from the project.

2. Our project
• This is a cultural exchange project. We discuss a new
topic every month. We use web 2.0 tools, we meet via
Skype and finally we edit a wiki. The aim of this project is
to find differences and similarities in our lives. After
discussing our topics or sending our short videos,
glogster, or other digital projects, we are going to
summarize what is the same and what is different in our
countries. I want my students to see more of the world,
to know more about other countries, and I would like
other countries to know more about our small country,
Hungary. I hope my students will find friends and
practice their English language skills through this project.
