Tools and techniques we've grown accustomed to are being challenged by new ideas and approaches that are better suited to new contexts brought about by emerging advances like the Internet of Things, cloud based services and big data.
The digital industry took several years to fully get to grips with mobile and even now many organisations have yet to successfully adapt their strategies to the multi-channel web. This next evolution of the web promises to be even more profound but are we prepared to be more agile this time around? We think it's time to have a digital conversation about the next generation of the web, what it looks like, what are the emergent trends and how should we, as developers, designers, strategists, marketers and digital managers respond?

ICT has several impacts both positive and negative for individuals and organizations. Positively, ICT allows for faster communication speeds, effective sharing of information, and a more paperless environment. However, it can also cause social problems from reduced personal interaction and health issues from excessive computer use. For organizations, ICT enables improved communication and wider market access but also poses costs, security threats, and increased competition.

ICT includes any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit, or receive information electronically in a digital form. For example, Computers, digital T.V, E-mails, and many more.
Abacus and the printing press are examples of ICT, the term usually refers to modern technology based on electronics.
ICT combines the technology of computing and telecommunications so that a large amount of data can be stored and transmitted.
Televisions, computers, satellites, and telephones are just some of the types of equipment used in ICT.

Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.

It’s vital that you keep in touch with the latest technology because in modern society it is becoming one of the most important things in keeping people together. The best thing about technology though is that it is extremely easy to find out the best information on the latest news because of such mediums as the television and internet. Considering how fast technology is moving, it is not hard to feel out of touch. What was relevant yesterday may be old news today. This is why the internet and TV are the best in terms of giving you the latest information for news. In the past people would rely on magazines and newspapers but those are printed and can never be updated. In 2012 you can view a webpage and receive live updates from the website. This is great because you will never ever be behind the latest news.
