This document discusses an organization called Bread For Uganda that aims to help children affected by the LRA insurgency in Uganda. It combines microfinance, education and local support to help over 66,000 children left in poverty and violence. The organization trains children in farming wheat to provide a marketable skill and help lift them out of poverty, and also trains them to become mentors to other children to create a self-sustaining cycle of support.
